This semi-dwarf CWRS variety yields 5% higher than Carberry with similar lodging and fusarium resistance. We expect Brandon to replace Carberry as a top choice on irrigation with it's high yield, good quality package and good FHB resistance.
Awned semi-dwarf hard red spring wheat. Similar lodging tolerance and disease resistance to AC® Carberry with 105% yield index, with shorter straw and earlier maturity.
First commercially released in western Canada in 2015. Introduced to northeastern Ontario due to its positive yield, agronomic and grain qualities.
