Brandon is semi-dwarf variety is capable of achieving high yields across many types of land and climate conditions on the prairies and is known for it's excellent quality protein and holding grade. With it's short height it stands quite well even under irrigation.

Brandon wheat is an awned semi-dwarf hard red spring wheat. It has similar lodging tolerance and disease resistance to AC® Carberry but has higher yield (105% +), shorter straw and earlier maturity.

First commercially released in western Canada in 2015, it has become an extremely popular variety.

AAC Brandon has been our most popular spring wheat to date. Excellent quality parameters combined with extremely high yields and great standability make AAC Brandon a top choice for our customers. Our experience is that Brandon performs well under both dryland and irrigation conditions which means it is extremely adaptable.
