CDC Envy is a new early maturing semi-dwarf spring wheat with good standability and higher yields than other early maturing wheat varieties. When you are looking at a late spring, it is worth considering an earlier maturing variety!

CDC Envy is a new variety from Alliance/Canterra Seeds, CDC Envy is a new spring wheat that offers 3 - 7 days earlier maturity (depending on area) than AAC Brandon Spring Wheat.  Higher yielding than other comparable early maturing varieties like AAC Redberry.

  • Semi-dwarf

  • Excellent Disease package including R to Bunt, MR to Stripe Rust and I to FHB

We see this variety being a nice fit for central Alberta and Saskatchewan where you need a shorter season variety and have less sawfly pressure.  CDC Envy definitely fits the bill in 2026!
