CDC Copeland Barley - Malt barley favorite.

It yields very well in the field, and provides a plump sample and exceptional germination (both valuable attributes to malters).In fact, according to Secan, CDC Copeland is now the second most popular malting variety in Western Canada and occupies 15% of the acreage and 20% of the tonnage selected for malting. In fact, reports say CDC Copeland experienced the highest selection rate among all the two-row malting barley varieties grown in western Canada in 2006.
