At Chin Ridge Seeds, we proudly mix and package all of our bird seed products—Mother Nature’s, Bird’s Choice, Nature’s Grubs, and Wildwest Specialty Seeds—right here on our family farm in sunny southern Alberta, Canada. Our entire team is based in Alberta too, so every bag we make is a true local effort.
We use a mix of Canadian-grown and carefully selected imported ingredients. For example, peanuts and tree nuts aren’t widely grown in Canada, so we source them abroad to keep up with demand. Whenever possible, though, we choose Canadian farmers and manufacturers first. Supporting local growers matters to us—not only because it strengthens Canadian agriculture, but also because sourcing close to home helps reduce our environmental footprint by cutting down on transportation.
