NONE Overview | sparrows | chickadees | finches | jays

Jay feeder Installed halfway between the House Sparrow "comfort zone" and your viewing windows, the superbly designed Jay Feeder is sure to catch the attention of the jays, cardinals, and grosbeaks in your area. It can be hung in a tree or set on a post above the ground.
The Jay Feeder, filled with Mother Nature's precisely formulated Jay Mix (a mix of peanuts, corn, large sunflower seeds and specialty treats), is exactly what these birds are seeking. It has a convenient lift out screen tray making it easy to clean. These larger feeder birds will be back again and again for the goodies in this mix.

The addition of a water source in the area of the feeder will complete this "comfort zone". Chickadees, nuthatches, finches and assorted relations will all appreciate not having to compete with the jays for water.

The Steller's Jay
stellerjay stellerjay map The Steller's Jay is easily recognized with its deep blue body and black crest, throat and upper breast. The Steller's Jay, like its cousin, the Blue Jay, is a truly handsome bird.
The Blue Jay
bluejay bljaymap The Blue Jay is gorgeously blue, with black bars and white patches on its wings and a long fan shaped tail. The Blue Jay's breast and belly are smokey gray.
The Northern Cardinal
Cardinal Cardinal map The Northern Cardinal is probably the most colorful bird to appear at a feeder. It is a non-migratory bird but prefers to live where winters are milder (not in Western Canada). Cardinals loves our "Mother Nature's Cardinal Mix" as well as sunflower seeds.
