HARD RED SPRING WHEAT

AC Carberry - New for 2012! 

This new hard red spring wheat has high yield potential, excellent disease resistance, short strong straw and great grain quality and protein. It has a "good" rating for fusarium and excellent lodging resistance.  If you are thinking of wheat on irrigation AC Carberry is a great choice.

 

AC Stettler: 

- New for 2011 - This newly released awned semi-dwarf variety has a higher grain yield than Superb and higher grain protein. It's short strong straw makes it a fit under irrigation or dryland settings with low sawfly pressure.

 

AC Lillian:

This is an excellent yielding solid stem hard red spring wheat that is resistant to sawfly. It is not immune to sawfly, but the variety seems to stand up much better to sawfly than hollow stemmed spring wheats grown under similar conditions. It remains our best tool in the sawfly fight.

 

CDC Go:

This is a high yielding hard red spring wheat with short strong straw making it ideal for irrigation. Developed by the Crop Development Centre - University of Saskatchewan, this CWRS wheat has shown a higher yield than Superb in seed trials and matures a few days earlier.
